NAG February 2010 issue

It’s the sand issue! We’ve flown to the far ends of the Earth to uncover the secrets behind Spec Ops: The Line, dug deep into the forgotten sands of Prince of Persia, and exploded the hidden truths of Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Our reviews section is filled to bursting with the sexy Bayonetta, the sneaky Saboteur, the sumptuous Avatar, the sad Rogue Warrior, and many more! When you’re done with that, help us dissect the HIS Radeon 5850, The GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD7 and the wacky Razer Naga. This is one issue you shouldn’t be without, especially if you’re as crazy about sand as we are!

The issue should be on shelf this Thursday, the 28th of January.

So i get to my regular store to buy the NAG and all of them have sand in them… sand… So disgusted with the store for obviously doing something weird during the packing I take the one with the least sand in it and go home.

Only when home did I see the “May contain…” sticker.
I’m sure somebody thought that was clever. Oh and thanks for the sand in my cd sleeve too.

People will die.

So I pickup the new NAG – Well done to Nag for adding SAND – you might know that sand and PC optical drives dont mix! – also sand tends to leave minute pits on the “free” disk! – which, by the way does not work! What idiot thought of this great idea!
I smell trouble comin your way!

If anyone has trouble with the cover disc, please send an email to subs@tidemedia.co.za. We’ll send you a brand-new, un-sanded, non-optical-drive-destroying disc.

As per usual, I went to the local store, went looking for the NAG mag… And rolled my eyes. Please take everyone involved in the sand gimmick out back and humanely euthenize them.

LOL. Don’t even let that idea get anywhere near Michael.

But there are so many possibilities for inserts: iron filings, anthrax, toenail clippings, bits of our lunch leftovers… the bounds are limitless.

Hahaha I Thought It Was Actually a Nice Idea, With DIRT2 and all, Or Was It For Spec Ops? Haha Anyway, Who Cares, It Doesn’t Change The Fact Of The Sand In The Cover Disk. Everybody, Including Me Probably thought it Was a Case Of Bad Shipping.

Sand + Computer = Not Ayoba

Decided to buy PC Format instead even though I really wanted to read the NAG. Any chance you can distribute a copy without sand in it?
