Ironic videogame graph

I found a link to this chart while surfing general news sites, digg.com in this case. It’s meant to be a joke, I’m sure, but there’s a kind of ironic truth to it. Now, I’m not the sort of gamer who trades in games (at least, not my games). I did once, in a moment of sheer desperation, and never again – in fact, I’ve since reacquired the three titles I traded in. But I know a good few people who tend to trade in their latest titles, and the funny thing is that sometimes they regret it afterwards. It often happens immediately afterwards, the hankering to play a game you’ve just traded in. Yeah, luckily I haven’t felt that way apart from that one time.08-02 Image

Damn right. I hate the idea of selling even my worst games. My game bookcase (gamecase?) is my prize possession.

I keep what I like, sell what I don’t use anymore. I don’t like being tied down.
