When I read this, I was just astonished, I mean truly. I’ve been a gamer for as long as I can remember and I’ve seen my fair share of whacked-out stuff happening in games – but stuff like this, I just can’t comprehend. I can’t even imagine what thought processes must have been going through the players’ minds to do the bizarre tasks necessary to even invoke half of these crazy logic errors. The closest thing I can come up with to compare (apart from my horse mysteriously vaulting over a tree in Red Dead Redemption) is from when my friends and I used to play Stunts on my old PC. We used to design our own tracks and always use the fastest car, and we’d always record our replays. I had a bunch of replays saved where these two idiots, don’t ask me how, managed to ramp the car at full speed off a gigantic ramp and make it land nose-first in the ground, but instead of crashing like it should, the car shoots off into the sky and flies for miles across the stage. And they managed to do it about four or five times. Anyway, in this particular list, you’ll find all kinds of weird things, like how to make Smurfette flash her boobs in an old Smurfs game, a swing set that launches cars into outer space in GTAIV, how to contract AIDs in World of WarCraft, and how to make Donkey Kong sodomise a pixelated clone of himself in Donkey Kong Country among others. Truly gaming is a many-splendoured thing.
