It seems that today is a day for games to come back from the dead. We’ve already seen Ubisoft confirming that Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will see a PC release after all, but on top of that, fans of Chernobyl wastelands and radioactive anomalies will be pleased to hear that STALKER 2 is back in the green.

Late last year developer GSC Gameworld was pretty much shutting shop. This sad news was compounded by the realisation that the much anticipated sequel to Russian-made open world shooter, STALKER 2, would be dying with the dev team.

Less than twenty-four hours ago, however, the series’ official Facebook page lit up with a message from the development team simply stating: “The Stalker team is extremely happy! Why? Because we are continuing work on Stalker 2 after the holidays.” Well, it’s after the holidays now guys, so get cracking.
