Alright, so Minecraft has been around for a while now and you’ve probably seen a bunch of videos and screenshots of intricate structures that people have poured countless hours into making. That’s all well and good, but the various buildings and recreations in the above video make that 1:1 scale Enterprise recreation look like a three-year-old’s LEGO set.

Some very dedicated Minecraft players have been busy recreating cities and structures from both the real world and videogame world. You’ll get to see what Fable II’s Bowerstone Market would look like made up of pixelated cubes; there’s even a recreation of the whole of Solitude from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Not to mention the Mines of Moria from Lord of the Rings. Yeah, people have been busy.

The video also showcases a very pretty Minecraft mod called Sonic Ether’s Unbelievable Shaders. You can pick up that mod here if you’re interested in making your vanilla Minecraft look a little more impressive. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go feel inadequate somewhere; my Minecraft buildings will never be anything like these, and that makes me sad.
