Celebrating 20 years: Wolfenstein 3D


To celebrate the 20th birthday of “the game that started it all”, id Software has released a free browser-based version of Wolfenstein 3D. It contains the original three episodes in their entirety, and lots of blue walls. You can play it here.

    Why don’t they just release it for free already? I can imagine this selling very well on mobiles with updated graphics.

      They have – just the browser version is a new novelty for people who don’t like to download things.

    this game is on the iPhone (has been for years according to a quick google search) and the source code has been open for many many many years so it should be available for tons of devices that are powerful enough.
