If you’re a Macbook, iMac or Mac Mini owner or simply like running a Hackintosh, OS X Mountain Lion was released to little fanfare this morning on the Apple Store. If you’re running Lion or Snow Leopard you can upgrade for the low price of $19.99 (approx R170) and download the update from the Apple store. The only hardware requirements specified by Apple are that you’re running a previous OS X version, have 2GB of RAM or more and at least 8GB free hard drive space to perform the upgrade. OS X Mountain Lion server is also available at the same upgrade price, also available from the store starting today.
