One of the most surprising things about the initial reveal of the Nintendo 3DS XL was the lack of second circle pad. It seemed odd that Nintendo would release a new piece of hardware with the same design oversight that the original had. Needless to say, the inevitable has happened and the hardware manufacturer has unveiled the Circle Pad Pro for the 3DS XL. It’s big (obviously) but at the same time adds less bulk to the 3DS XL than the original Circle Pad Pro added to the smaller 3DS. If that makes sense.
