Now, you all remember Windows XP, right? You remember how Microsoft’s adverts told you it was the most advanced operating system on the planet, how it’d make your life a breeze, your games run faster and more sexy people of the opposite sex would come to visit you because you had it? Yeah, right, we never got those. Probably a good thing we didn’t too, because this is what the Americans were subjected to. As Microsoft prepares to launch its newest baby, Windows 8, in two days, I decided a quick trip down memory lane to the week before XP was released was in order.
