Its not anything we’ve seen before, really, but the 5:4 aspect ratio is commonly used for the medical professions who needs to look at some seriously high-res scans to detect stuff like cancer, bone breaks and other stuff you’re likely to see on an episode of House. The work-in-progress doesn’t even have a name but measures 20.5 inches diagonally, renders images at 2560 x 2048 and uses Sony’s OLED technology. Sony hasn’t mentioned pricing or availability, but imagine running your games on one or three screens like that? Sadly, most gamers are probably nowhere near being able to afford something like that.
