Spike TV held their annual Video Game Awards ceremony last Friday. If you’d stayed up until 4AM our local time, then you could have watched it Live over the show’s official website or Xbox LIVE. Otherwise you could’ve just waited until today to watch all of the best bits and new game trailers.
Irrational Games’ Ken Levine attended the show to introduce this new three-and-a-half minute gameplay clip. In the clip, Booker meets Elizabeth for the first time, and then gets to fling himself around Columbia’s skylines while fighting off loads of enemies and a Handyman. It looks intense but fortunately Elizabeth looks really useful for an AI companion: she will frequently toss ammo and other handy consumables in your direction mid-fight.
BioShock Infinite has been delayed by another month so will be out on 26 March 2013. Levine has also revealed that there will be an alternative box art sleeve for fans to download in case you’re one of the many who loathe the recently revealed option. Hit the jump to watch the new gameplay, and do it sooner rather than later because knowing Spike TV, there’ll be take-down notices flying about soon.
