Aquaman joins Injustice roster

Aquaman is the latest superhero to join the roster of playable characters in NetherRealm Studios’ upcoming fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us. Yep, Aquaman – we’re holding thumbs for the ability to throw whales at opponents.

Aquaman is the penultimate founding member of The Justice League to make it into the game; now all we need is Martian Manhunter and that’ll be the whole gang. As much as Aquaman gets ragged for being so lame, his moves look pretty awesome in the game, especially that whole tsunami thing he has going on.

Reveal trailer after the jump. It also shows off a bit of the game’s story mode, which is looking so terribly cheesey we just can’t wait to get stuck in. If the most recent Mortal Kombat’s story mode is anything to go by, Injustice’s should go down a treat.
