I know, “DRM concerns” probably isn’t quite the right phrase, but this is supposed to be a family site and I don’t want Timmy’s mommy emailing me to complain about the interesting new words he learned today (again). Anyway, after saying this, that, and the other thing about used and borrowed games and the Xbox One while not really saying very much at all about it, Xbox overlord Larry Hryb has come out with some reassuring words for gamers.
Responding to a reader’s comments about the recent PlayStation 4 DRM concerns Twitter campaign over on his blog, Hryb said that “We’re fully aware of what is going on. I am also working on a few things to address it. I can’t say much more right now. But we ARE listening.”
I imagine it would be hard not to, though. If I stop everything I’m doing right now, I swear I’d hear somebody complaining about the Xbox One. Hang on a moment… yes, there it is. Or maybe that’s just the cat trying to get back in my office. It’s hard to tell – all that anguished mewling starts to sound the same after a bit.
