Let’s say, for example, that you own an iOS or Android device. There is a 99.99% chance that you have then played at least one of Halfbrick Studios’ games: either Jetpack Joyride or Fruit Ninja. Both games are, in a way, digital crack-cocaine. They destroy productivity with military grade reckless abandon.
Good news then that Halfbrick will be adding to their portfolio of overly addictive time-sinks with a new game called Colossatron: Massive World Threat. Players control a giant robotic snake thing as it destroys city blocks and fights off the army. You’ll need to match coloured modules in order to boost Colossatron’s powers, which will in turn allow you to cause more damage. The greater the cost of the damage caused, the better you’re doing.
The game is coming out on iOS (there will inevitably be an Android version judging by Halfbrick’s history) sometime soon. While there’s no price as yet, there is a trailer featuring lots of shouting, explosions, moustaches and gameplay. Hit the jump.
