At Gamescom today, Microsoft revealed its list of launch titles for the Xbox One. Of course, for us here in South Africa, the “launch titles” for Xbox One will probably be more extensive considering we’ll be waiting a good few months for the new console to get to us anyway. By the time it does, there’ll hopefully be a lot more than the 23 titles Microsoft has announced.

There are a couple of obvious ones in the list, including Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and EA’s Battlefield 4. On top of this new launch title list, Microsoft unveiled a complete list of upcoming titles for the Xbox One for the months after the console’s release. That list includes 50 titles, 38% of which are exclusive to the platform and 37% of which are brand new IPs. Just less than half of that list (44% to be exact) will include timed exclusive or exclusive content to the Xbox One.

Hit the jump for the launch line-up.
