During a recent financial call, Ubisoft’s Yves Guillemot revealed that the Wii U version of Watch Dogs will be released “at a later date” to the versions on other platforms. This ends months of speculation that Ubisoft had abandoned a Wii U version of the game; a rumour that was sparked when European retailers began cancelling pre-orders of the Wii U version. During the same financial call, Guillemot confirmed that Watch Dogs will be out during Ubisoft’s first financial quarter, which means we’ll be seeing the game hit PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One sometime between April and June 2014. There was no estimated time given for the Wii U version.
