If you love The Elder Scrolls but have always felt that the games in this venerable series have been oppressively lonely, then perhaps you’re ridiculously excited for The Elder Scrolls Online and all its anti-lonely MMORPG trappings. In that case, the fine folks at Ster Kinekor would like to offer you the chance to get in on some early beta action with the game this coming weekend.
Click through if you’re intrigued.
Here’s the skinny: Ster Kinekor’s kindly provided us 50 beta keys to give away. But! This competition’s on a bit of a strict timer, because the next beta phase is only running for the span of this coming weekend. It starts Friday evening at 6:05pm CET (7:05pm local time) and ends at 5:59am CET Monday morning (6:59am local time). It’s obviously unclear at this time if they’ll do another beta weekend in future.
So what we want to do is open up this competition for 24 hours. In other words, it’ll close tomorrow night (Wednesday the 26th of March) at 7:05pm, and then we’ll notify winners on Thursday morning. The game client is just under 30GB in size, so expect to be downloading for a while. That’s also partly why we’ve got such a rush on this: to give people the chance to actually download the game in time for the beta’s opening on Friday evening.
If you’re sure that you can get your expectations in line with all the details above, leave us a comment below to get yourself in the running to win one of the keys.
