In case that name doesn’t immediately grab your attention and send you into an unbridled fit of excitement, I feel it’s my duty to inform you that Shinji Mikami is the original creator of Resident Evil and has helped bring many other excellent games to life in the years since, including the likes of Devil May Cry and Viewtiful Joe. More recently, he was at the helm of Resident Evil 4 (which many consider to be one of the finest games in the series) and cult hit third-person shooter Vanquish.
Now, you may have heard that he’s created something new. It’s called The Evil Within. I’ve been playing it, and while I’m not quite ready to pass final judgement on it yet, I can tell you that it’s horrifying. In a good way, obviously.

Courtesy of that lovely bunch of lovable peoples over at Ster Kinekor Entertainment, we’ve got four deliciously gory hampers full of Evil Within goodies to offer four lucky readers the chance to win.
Inside the hamper you’ll find a T-shirt, awesome blood-spattered apron, steelbook case, lanyard and a photo set, all of which is appropriately Evil Within themed. You’ll also find the world’s heaviest, but coolest bottle opener (also themed around the game), a soundtrack CD containing some of The Evil Within‘s haunting tunes and a random Blu-ray movie. Naturally, you’ll find a copy of the game in the hamper as well, on the platform of your choice.
If you’d like the chance to win all these Evil Within goodies, drop a comment in the box below. Your comment can contain anything you’d like really, but in the midst of whatever incoherent ramblings you choose to digitally jot down, please let us know on which platform you’d like to play the game.
Anyway, good luck, and happy entrails or something. Have a look at some of the goods!
