In just less than two weeks, Rockstar will be releasing Grand Theft Auto V onto current-gen consoles. The updated version will bring enhanced graphics, new music, and a new first-person perspective to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users. Glorious Master Race, you guys are getting it too (and with 4K resolution support if you’ve learnt how to crap money to pay for hardware – incidentally, let us know how to do that, thanks!) but you have to wait until the end of January 2015.
The new first-person mode can be accessed instantly with a single button press. Rockstar had to create thousands of new animations and redesign the interiors for all the cars, planes and boats in order to make the mode immersive.
The first footage for this new perspective has been released, and you can check it out after the jump. Next up: we all hold hands and pray that Rockstar brings Oculus Rift support to GTA V as well.
