Ah, Attila. We hear he was a lovely guy, full of peaceful thoughts and a deep-seated fear of fire and burning things. “The Gandhi of his generation”, we’ve heard him called. Apparently he was adored by all of Rome, and huge celebrations were held whenever he visited the ancient city.
Of course, all of the information above was passed down by a historian who’d once had Attila’s knife at his throat, and was thereby forced to say only the nicest of things about the conqueror’s grand “benevolence”.
Anyway, fans of careful turn-based strategising and manic real-time battling would do well to follow us into the depths of this post.
