If you enjoyed Wolfenstein: The New Order and have been wondering when you’d see some new content, wonder no more. Bethesda has officially announced Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, a standalone prequel to the 2014 game.
In it, players once again take on the role of B.J. Blazkowicz trying to prevent the Nazis from winning the Second World War. We may all know how that turns out, but it doesn’t matter. What does matter is that the game will feature two parts, the first of which will see B.J. returning to the titular Castle Wolfenstein in order to discover the location of the infamous General Deathshead’s compound, while the second part will once more dwell on the theme of Nazi occultism as B.J. tracks down one of the Third Reich’s archaeologists who is obsessed with unleashing an ancient force of darkness.
Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is slated for a release on the 5th of May 2015 and will retail for $20. PC, PS4 and Xbox One users will all be able to get into the action.
