Like it or not, but Star Wars pretty much owns the Internet at the moment. That’s thanks to the annual Star Wars Celebration that’s currently taking place in California. We’ve already seen the second trailer for Episode VII: The Force Awakens coming out of that celebration, but later on this evening, at 19:30 local South African time, you’ll get to see a full reveal of DICE and EA’s upcoming Star Wars Battlefront.

The long-awaited online shooter is supposedly hitting PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 19 November 2015. That date is a rumour for now and is courtesy of that wretched hive of scum and villainy called NeoGAF. The GAF collective managed to access the source code of the official Star Wars Battlefront website, where the following sentence could be seen: “The latest news and updates for Star Wars™ Battlefront . Available November 17, 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.” Additionally, the screenshot you see in the header image above was also uncovered by NeoGAF.

EA has always said that the game would be out during the festive season for 2015, so 17 November seems entirely feasible. You can check back here later this evening where we’ll be sharing any news on Star Wars Battlefront to come out of EA’s presentation.
