Ah, pixels. What would our lives be without them? Pixel-less, that’s what. And science teaches us that pixels are the only force preventing the Earth from spinning off its axis and crashing into the sun, which sounds like a very important thing to remember the next time you spot a dead pixel on someone’s monitor.
We’d also have one less Adam Sandler movie to look forward to, and that’s just unacceptable.
With that in mind, if you’d like to win tickets to see a film that revels in all things retro and video game-y, then follow us below the break.
Up for grabs we’ve got 15 sets of double tickets for you and a friend / pet / parent / sibling / significant other / robot companion to see Pixels, the upcoming video game-themed movie starring Adam Sandler and Peter Dinklage. This’ll be an exclusive screening, taking place on Wednesday the 22nd of July at 8pm. That’s two days before it opens in cinemas nationwide, which is pretty fancy.
Ten tickets are allocated to each of three Ster Kinekor cinemas: Sandton in Jo’burg, Cavendish in Cape Town and Gateway in Durban. This means we’ll draw five winners for each of those cinemas. If you’d like the chance to win these tickets, leave a comment below and be sure to tell us which cinema is applicable to you. As an added bonus, share with us which game you always gravitated towards at the arcades, so we can take a walk down nostalgia lane together.
Winners will be randomly selected on Friday 17 July at 12pm. Here, have a trailer:
