Ubisoft’s upcoming third-person, open-world shooter, Tom Clancy’s The Division, goes on open beta this weekend, giving players who want to get a taste of what’s on offer the chance to see what New York might look like in a post-apocalyptic future where things have predictably all gone to hell. If you’re upgrading your rig to get the game running smoothly, you might also be interested to know that the new GeForce bundle replacing Rise of the Tomb Raider now includes a free copy of The Division. To qualify, you need to buy a GeForce GTX 970, GTX 980, or GTX 980 Ti, or a notebook with GTX 970M, GTX 980M, or GTX 980 graphics inside from participating retailers. The Division is a R600 purchase on its own, so if you don’t want the game, you can simply pawn it off to someone else to drop the price tag of your chosen GPU or system down a bit.
Retailers that are part of this promotion locally include Rebel Tech and Evetech. Others may still join this promotion, which runs from 21 March through to 30 April 2016. Tom Clancy’s The Division is set to launch on 8 March 2016 for the Windows PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 platforms.
