The second DLC pack for the behemoth that is Call of Duty: Black Ops III is called Eclipse, and it features some sweet-looking goodies. First up are four new multiplayer maps, namely Spire, Rift, Verge and Knockout – all of which will probably be a blast to master, or if you’re like me, to try survive in long enough to not be teabagged any more than absolutely necessary.
Secondly, and probably most excitingly, Eclipse will include a brand-spanking-new zombies map called Zetsubou No Shima (which translates to “Island of Despair”), which is a followup to Der Eisendrache from the Awakening DLC pack. The map is set on an island infested with regular zombies (shocker), huge zombies, and what I can only assume are spider zombies. It looks like one hell of a ride.
Eclipse will be available to PS4 owners first (thanks to Sony snagging a timed-exclusivity deal on all the game’s DLC) on 19 April and one month later on other platforms. The pack will probably set you back between R190 and R210 depending on your preferred platform.
