We haven’t written much about Kholat, a first-person horror game by Polish studio IMGN.PRO. The game received a mixed response, but was praised for its atmosphere and ambition, as well as for the voice acting talents of Sean Bean.
The developers have announced their next horror title with a teaser trailer that’s accompanied by a rather creepy website. The game is called Husk.
The story follows Matthew Palmer as he tries to survive a journey through the town of Shivercliff. The game bills itself as a “narrative horror game”, and there’s definite influence visible from P.T. and the Silent Hill series. IMGN.PRO have also created a website for Shivercliff that details the town and its surroundings. The town’s description ends with this threatening message: “A place you will not be able to leave”.
Husk is being built using Unreal Engine 4. There’s no word on a release date or intended platforms.
