NVIDIA has just launched their GeForce graphics drivers under the Game Ready group (i.e. technically beta drivers but somehow they’re WHQL certified), and these drivers have fixes in place for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, which launches today, as well as Edge of Nowhere, a new VR title by Insomniac Games that is exclusive to Oculus Rift owners. This driver also adds in support for the GeForce GTX 1070, launched last month to much fanfare, as well as specific hardware support for VR games running on Pascal graphics cards.

NVIDIA’s drivers promise support for Overwatch, Total War: Warhammer, and interestingly also support some large updates that are arriving soon for World of Tanks and War Thunder. War Thunder‘s v1.59 update adds a bunch of new tanks and abilities like unguided rockets, and World of Tanks is introducing UI and graphics changes that improve performance up to 30% for some systems. There are new defaults for the graphics presets and changes to the lighting engine, bringing the game to a new version of the CoreEngine that fully supports DirectX 11.
