Halo-5-Guardians-review-featured

343 Industries is dropping Halo 5‘s Warzone Firefight update next week Wednesday, and to celebrate (… and populate the servers with more targets to shoot), the game will be free to download and play on Xbox One, and 50% off to purchase from 29 June to 4 July. The update includes the co-op Warzone Firefight mode, plus heaps of other new thingies.

A WARNING FOR THE BANDWIDTH-CHALLENGED, HOWEVER. The Halo 5 game client is already 81 GB, and the update is expected to push that up, maybe even over 90 GB. Yikes. If you know somebody who already has the game, though, you can copy the game file onto a compatible external USB HDD and authenticate it on your own console. Sharing is caring and saving.
