Nintendo has just revealed the NES Classic Edition, a “near-identical, mini replica” of the original 8-bit Nintendo Entertainment System. The revamped console features an HDMI port and comes bundled with a controller and 30 retro-nostalgic games, so you know what? You know it’s on. Like Donkey Kong. Z-SNAPS. Actually, that is one of the games.

The NES Classic Edition also supports two-player games – although an additional, obviously-sold-separately controller is required for that – but has no online functionality, so it’s split-screen or bust. Just like it was in 1985. This thing is legit.

The complete list of games includes:

  • Balloon Fight
  • Bubble Bobble
  • Castlevania
  • Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest
  • Donkey Kong
  • Donkey Kong Jr.
  • Double Dragon II: The Revenge
  • Dr. Mario
  • Excitebike
  • Final Fantasy
  • Galaga
  • Ghosts’ N Ghoblins
  • Gradius
  • Ice Climber
  • Kid Icarus
  • Kirby’s Adventure
  • Mario Bros.
  • Mega Man 2
  • Metroid
  • Ninja Gaiden
  • Pac-Man
  • Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream
  • StarTropics
  • SUPER C
  • Super Mario Bros.
  • Super Mario Bros. 2
  • Super Mario Bros. 3
  • Tecmo Bowl
  • The Legend of Zelda
  • Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

No local launch date or price tag has been confirmed, but it’s out in November in the US for $59.99 (approximately R900), and an extra controller at $9.99 (R150). There probably won’t be a Power Glove to go with it, though.
