I mean, okay, so nerfing Torbjörn was bad, but was it so bad that the people who work at Blizzard deserve to die in a bullet hell? Stephen Cebula thinks so. Actually, I don’t know what exactly made him so fuuuuurious that he threatened to visit the studio “with an AK47 amongst some other ‘fun’ tools”, but whatever it was, it was probably something equally stupid and inconsequential. Some people, hey.
According to a report over on Kotaku, the Sacramento resident is accused of sending emails to the company claiming that he “may or may not pay [Blizzard] a visit with an AK-47 amongst some other ‘fun’ tools,” and that he “might be inclined to ‘cause a disturbance’ at [Blizzard’s] headquarters in California with an AK-47 and a few other ‘opportunistic tools.’” He was arrested on July 12 following an FBI investigation, and is scheduled to appear in court next week. If he’s found guilty, Cebula faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
Let this be a lesson, boys and girls, that words on the internet are real.
