Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is out tomorrow. Are you hyped? I’m hyped. I’ve also infiltrated the office’s air conditioning ducts with a stealth drone and acquired the review copy of the game without tripping any alarms or killing anybody. ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED.
In the meantime, though, want to know what you get with the game’s sold-separately season pass? Because I’ll tell you. According to UK retailer Game, it features:
- Two new story missions: “System Rift” and “A Criminal Past”
- The “Assault” and “Tactical” packs, which include various weapons and items
- Four Praxis Kits
- 5,000 Credits
- Five “Booster Packs” and 20 “Chipsets” for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided – Breach
In previous Deus Ex games, Praxis Kits are used to unlock augmentation abilities, so I assume it’s the same this time around, and “Breach” is the game’s hot new, arcade-ish data-bank heist mode.
Local pricing isn’t available yet, but it’s £24.99 in the UK, and $30 in the US, so we can expect to pay something like R350-400 or so extra for it. That’s a lot, but Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is set in 2029, so the cost is presumably adjusted for future inflation. Or not. Probably not.
