Ever feel like booting up a classic PS1 or PS2 game, but don’t feel like hunting down the correct AV cable in what looks like a box of electrical spaghetti? Or do you just want some cheap games? Well, the PlayStation Store is running a retro-themed sale, with discounts on more than 300 titles.
PlayStation made a splash recently by rolling out several remasters of PS2 games for PS4, and all of these have a sweet discount. Games like Dark Cloud, Dark Chronicle, The Mark of Kri and the incredibly fun Rogue Galaxy are all R129 each. Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City, and San Andreas are marked down to R149, and the Star Wars PS4 Mega Bundle packages four games for R309.
PS3 gamers have access to basically every platforming mascot PlayStation has ever had, with discounts for The Ratchet and Clank Trilogy, every PS1 Crash Bandicoot, the Jak and Daxter Trilogy, as well as similar bundles for Spyro and Sly Cooper. There’s also too many RPGs to mention, and I haven’t even touched the Vita section yet.
If you want to grow your library of PlayStation classics, check out the sale before it ends on September 8th.
