The finals of the Telkom Digital Gaming League Masters tournament took place at rAge in Joburg this past weekend, with Bravado Gaming and White Rabbit Gaming winning the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and DOTA 2 competitions respectively, and a share of the total R1 million prize. Double whammy!

Bravado beat CarboN eSports 2:0 in the CS: GO final but were beaten by White Rabbit Gaming in the DOTA 2 final. Each team took home R200,000 for first place in their categories. The winners and runners-up included:

CS: GO

  • First place: Bravado Gaming – R200, 000
  • Second place: CarboN eSports – R90, 000
  • Third Place: Damage Control – R50, 000
  • Fourth Place: Flipsid3 Tactics – R40, 000
  • Fifth and sixth: Aperture Gaming and White Rabbit Gaming – R35,000
  • Seventh and eighth: Veneration E-Sports and Xperts@Total.Chaos

DOTA 2

  • First place: White Rabbit Gaming – R200, 000
  • Second place: Bravado Gaming – R90, 000
  • Third Place: Aperture Gaming – R50, 000
  • Fourth Place: CarboN eSports – R40, 000
