I’m not American, so I have almost no understanding of Black Friday. To me, it’s just a day of consumerism and stampedes. Fortunately, one of those things (consumerism) translates very well to online shopping, and many online retailers have their own Black Friday sales. GOG is getting an early start, and they have some savings that you won’t need to trample anyone for.
The sale isn’t exactly huge, but it does have some neat highlights. The recently released Shadow Warrior 2 is 25% off at $29.99; Inside is discounted to $14.99; and Day of the Tentacle Remastered is $9.99. Some older titles have bigger savings too, like Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines for $4.99; the insanely well received Divinity: Original Sin at half price for $19.99; and Limbo, that game your indie-loving friend kept talking about in 2011, for $1.99.
There’s more to see at GOG.com, including discounts for personalised bundles, and it’s worth taking a look before the sale ends on 27 November.
