The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind is a thing that’s happening, and it looked awesome in its announcement trailer earlier this month. As cool as cinematic trailers are, nothing beats a good bit of gameplay, which is exactly what the expansion’s latest trailer delivers. Nostalgia meters set to MAX!

“Long before the events of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, another great danger threatened to destroy Morrowind,” says the official blurb.

“Cataclysmic events have been set in motion, and it will be up to you and your allies [to] stop them. Your race to unravel the mystery of demi-god Vivec’s waning power and save the people of Vvardenfell will take you from the port town of Seyda Neen to the cantons of Vivec City and beyond.”

TESO: Morrowind takes place in the new Vvardenfell region, which is heralded as the “largest landmass addition to date”, and includes around 30 hours of questing goodness.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind will be out on 6 June for PC, PS4 and XBO, and should set you back a hefty R619.99.
