PS Plus’ March and April offerings were… less than stellar. While they included one or two games that will undoubtedly keep you busy for a while, none of them really stood out. But things are starting to look up for Sony fans as May’s round of freebies looks set to include some real gems.

PS4 owners can grab the fantastic Tales from the Borderlands and frantic twin-stick shooter Alienation, while PS3 players will be treated to Blood Knights and Port Royale 3: Pirates and Merchants. Lastly, PS Vita (and PS4 via Cross Buy) owners will get Laser Disco Defenders and Type:Rider. As always, an active PS Plus membership is required to get access to any of the games.
