Ahead of its E3 conference on 12 June, Ubisoft has dropped a teaser trailer hyping… actually, not much because most of it is blanked out. You guys. Between the [REDACTED] inserts, however, the video also features Far Cry 5 and South Park: The Fractured But Whole, and, I mean, everybody already knows one of those we’re-not-telling things is the next Assassin’s Creed so that too.
Maybe most intriguing, though, is the “New IP saved for conference” at 0:24. WHAT COULD THAT BE? I dunno, but if it’s a new Tom Clancy game, you read it here first, but please don’t be a new Tom Clancy game.
“E3 is truly a moment of excitement and pride, not just for Ubisoft but for our entire industry,” sez Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot in the press stuff. “Ultimately, Ubisoft’s games are the result of the collective efforts of our talented teams from all around the world, collaboration with the biggest names in entertainment, and contributions from the players themselves. That’s why we can’t wait for the thousands of fans at this year’s E3 — and the millions watching from home — to discover our unique take on creating game worlds and the action-packed line-up we have in store for them.”
Ubisoft’s E3 conference is at 22:00 local time on 12 June.
