In today’s edition of Shit, Why Didn’t I Think of That (I Could Be Rich), id Software founder and Doom II designer John Romero is selling an original, somewhat grubby 3.5″ floppy disk copy of the game on eBay, with current bids already at $3050 (almost R40,000) at publish time. Maybe he can use the cash to fund a Daikatana sequel! Or, you know, not.

No box (or floppy disk drive, or floppy disk compatible PC) included, apparently, but he’ll sign the disks if you want.
