Telltale’s narrative-driven adventures have proven time and again that licensed video game adaptations can be great, and that the episodic format can work well. If you’ve somehow never played one of their titles, the Humble Telltale Bundle may be your best way to acquaint yourself with them.
Paying a dollar or more gets you a ton of games, including Sam & Max: Season 1 and Season 2, Puzzle Agent 1 and 2, Bone Episode 1 and 2, and the award-winning, tear-jerking The Walking Dead: Season 1. Beating the average gets you The Walking Dead: Season 2, The Walking Dead: Michonne, Game of Thrones, and the utterly hilarious Tales from the Borderlands.
$15 and above gets you Batman: The Telltale Series and Minecraft: Story Mode (plus its DLC, Adventure Pass).
The Humble Telltale Bundle runs until 1 August, and features what I consider to be some of the finest stories in gaming. More games will be added to the bundle on 25 July,
