I never really understood the hype behind Dying Light. I mean, it was fun for a while and it’s all about zombies and stuff, but there was just something about it that I found remarkably forgettable. But according to Techland, about three years after launch, the game’s still pulling in more than half a million players a week.

To show their appreciation for those players who’ve stuck with the game for so long, the developer has announced that they’ll be dropping ten free DLC packs over the next year. A video explaining what’ll be included in some of the upcoming expansions is below.

According to the video, players can expect “new challenging enemies, more in-game events, new mysteries to solve, and much, much more”.
