You’re overwhelmed with games to play right now, huh? You’re trying to squeeze in some Destiny 2, maybe you’re jamming a bit of Gran Turismo Sport or Forza 7? Or you’ve splashed some cash to pre-order Assassin’s Creed: Origins or the new Wolfenstein? Ok, but we don’t all have that kind of money, okay, so stop bragging and bugger off. For the rest of us, Microsoft has revealed this month’s line-up of free Games with Gold. And here they are…

The month kicks off with the manic Trackmania Turbo on Xbox One – it’s fast, it’s colourful, it’s always down to party. Just the way we like ’em.  If you’ve given the Trackmania franchise a miss,  now’s your chance to see why people go on about it. That will be joined mid-way through November by what’s surely the main act: Telltale Games’ Tales from the Borderlands. If you’ve enjoyed any of Telltale’s episodic stuff, be sure that Tales from the Borderlands is some of the developer’s best work and shouldn’t be missed.

Xbox 360 owners (and, as always, Xbox One owners, via backwards compatibility) will be treated to the Sega classic Nights Into Dreams, and then mistreated to the shoddy Deadfall Adventures – a tired Indiana-Jones-meets-Tomb-Raider-meets-shit-game-design affair. Nights Into Dreams can be yours from 1 to 15 November, and then it’s Deadfall Adventures until the end of the month.
