Ghost Recon Wildlands Year 2 starts next week and Ubisoft has quite a bit of post-launch content planned, structured around four free Special Operations updates, each bringing new PvE content, updates to the PvP Ghost War modes and more.

Special Operations 1 includes a couple of interesting additions – a new PvP mode, a new PvE mission, a new theme, and the ability to customise your PvE squad of killing machines. The new PvP mode, Sabotage, has squads defending or attacking an objective, not unlike some of the side missions seen in the campaign, and it comes with its own maps.

With four Spec Ops updates lined up, each promising new PvE and PvP content, new themes, special challenges and unique rewards, Year 2 looks like it’s going to do well to build on an already impressive first year of Ghost Recon Wildlands.

Your first free update lands on 10 April. I’ll see you out there in the Bolivian mountains.
