Zotac breaks the 700MHz with GTX 275 AMP!

High factory overclock

Beside its reference clocked GTX 275 card, Zotac has announced its AMP! edition GTX 275 card as well. This one is the first announced factory OCed GTX 275 that we are aware of, and Zotac decided to do a hefty overclock on this card.

Unlike the reference GTX 275 card that runs at 633/1404/2268MHz for the GPU, shaders and memory, Zotac's AMP! edition has been overclocked to 702MHz for the GPU, 1,512MHz for shaders and stunning 2,520MHz for memory. It still uses the same reference cooling, but with these clocks it is currently the fastest GTX 275 on the market.

Zotac's GTX 275 AMP! edition is also the first factory OCed GTX 275 that ended up listed and the current lowest price stands at €246,30 which isn't that far from the reference cards. The card comes bundled with Codemasters' Racedriver GRID game and Futuremark's 3DMark Vantage Advanced.

You can find it listed here (http://buy.fudzilla.com/eu/a419678.html).

Powercolor's HD 4890 LCS coming soon

http://www.fudzilla.com/images/stories/Logos/powercolorlogo.gif

Water cooled HD 4890 in the next two weeks

According to our info, Powercolor is working on LCS series water-cooled HD 4890 card. The card will run at 900+ MHz for the core, which means that it will have more room for overclocking depending on the water cooling setup.

Powercolor will overclock both the GPU and the memory which should end up running at 1000MHz. Due to the water cooler option, the maximum overclock will of course depend on the water cooling setup. The Powercolor LCS HD 4890 will at least be cooler than the reference HD 4890, and of course, it will be dead silent which is a great plus as, according to the first reviews, the reference card is quite noisy.

The card should be limited edition so not many of these will appear in retail. According to our info, it should be announced during next two weeks. It will be a bit more expensive but it will also be a single slot card, and this might be the first card to break the magical 1GHz limit.

Wow sounds great. The HD 4890 will be expensive especially when it comes out with water cooling, but it will help for the overclocking that is for sure. AMD is busy with some wicked cards..
As far as the less noise goes because of the water-cooling, that does not bother me. I dont mind a card that makes a noise because of the fan, just aslong as the fan is doing its job. 900+mhz core!! thats insane.

The gtx 275 looks good aswell, love the bundle you get with it. Thanx Chevron, great reviews.
