CPU fan speed tweaking

Hey guys , i was just looking at some programs to see if i can tweak my CPU fan speed since i cant do it from my BIOS (yes im sure i cant , i looked every ware)

I was just wondering if you guys dont know of any good apps or programs for this task

BTW , im running a q6600 , 4 gig 800mhz ddr2 RAM , Intel Johhanesburger mobo , 500 WATT psu , 8800 gt (OCed)

Speedfan - I think you can find it on the Nag cd's. ( or PCFormat)

CpuCool - It is only a trial version that you can download

It is weird that your motheboard does not have something like "SmartFan" or any other utillity to set the RPM's of the CPU fan.

Check SpeedFan, i know u can alter your fan speeds there....

I have speed fan , but i want to alter my CPU fan speed , not my case fans and my graphics card fans!!!

You can usually do it with speedfan. Actually I'm doing at this moment. So if u can't change your cpu fan speed with speedfan' it's a compatibility issue.

Agreed. You can use speedfan to tweak any fan in your computer, including your CPU fan.
Try and get utility's that is specifically designed for your motherboard. Try Intel's website.
