I upgraded last week and got a Samsung Omnia. I've transfered everything (music, pics, vids, contacts etc.) from my old phone and everything works nicely. The only thing i can't get my head around is that all calls to me has no caller id, even the contacts i have comes up as unknown. No number or anything. With sms and mms, the id comes up fine with the person's name, or a number if it's from an unknown person. But not with calls. Any ideas?

YOU.ARE.SCREWED.

But seriously, I'll ask my cousin, his didn't seem to give him problems. From what phone did you transfer? (old phone) Because his old phone was a Samsung as well.

From a Nokia N73. I sync'ed everything with my pc and Outlook. Then sync'ed everything with the Samsung. I know four other guys with the exact same phone, and theirs didn't do it. I'm sure it's a setting somewhere... :|

Did you install Microsoft's Active Sync and the MITs Wizard, and use those for syncing?

Yes i did.
Anyway, problem solved. It was a caller id setting that was disabled (default setting apparently) at the service provider. One call and they enabled it again. Thanks anyway.
