Steam - Maintainance

Hi guys,

Recently my steam account has been telling me that it is performing maintenance on their servers. All this means is that I can't contact my friends list. So, does anyone else have this issue or is it just me?

I've had that issue before too. It was caused by my firewall.

My steam works perfectly, my network connection however, doesn't.

I tried downloading via Steam and Steam itself worked properly, it may be -as Azimuth said- your Firewall. :)

I've had it several times, but it only ever lasts a few minutes.

Had it before . I think it's just a bug or something . Because like the above people myne fixed itslef too.
