I don't really have a favorite... But tops would have to be Eddy Murphy and Pablo Francisco.
EDIT: Don't forget the Kings Of Comedy! Steve Harvey, Cedric the Entertainer, Mark Hugley and the late Bernie Mac! R.I.P. Bernie! :)
Chris Rock, Russel Peters and Katt Williams aren't funny at all.
+ Eddie Izzard
+ Mitch Hedberg
+ Bill Hicks*

Chris Rock is funny as a comedic ACTOR, not as a standup comedy person...

Eddie Izzard and George Carlin are my 2 favorites but undoubtedly one of the best shows I've ever seen was Robin Williams Live on Broadway. How the hell he got away with half that sh1t, I don't know.

For me it's gotta be Carlos Mencia. I have the whole "Mind of Mencia" series at home, and still LMAO everytime I watch it. I just love the whole tell-it-like-it-is attitude of the guy.

Jimmy Carr, Eddie Izzard, Bill Bailey, Mitch Hedburg. That's what I remember now off the top of my head.
Watched Russel Peters today. Was very funny! Have to get more of him!

Eddie Izzard and Bill Bailey have made me laugh more than any others combined -ESPECIALLY Eddie Izzard, though I prefer audio recordings to seeing him live, as it leaves more up to the imagination.
And, by extension, I am rather envious of Onona. :<
Aside from that... Bill Hicks, Dylan Moran, and Chris Rock are in second place.
EDIT: OH AND ROBIN WILLIAMS

Jimmy Carr, the guy doesn't have a moral compass ;)
Also like Russell Peters, Pablo Francisco, Billy Connolly, Jeff Dunham and Eddie Murphy. Wish he'd go back to stand-up.

Billy Connolly is an odd one. I find him hilarious when he just improves casually during interviews, or any place when not on stage... but when on stage he's a bit plastic, I find.
Opposite could be said for Eddie Izzard. Not so funny off stage, but on stage, when you've given him time to build up, he slaughters me :P

Ladies and gentlemen, from now, as an administrative decision, for this and any other 'favourite' thread, you will discuss what you like about the things you listed. Saying you find someone funny isn't good enough. What do you find funny, and why are good starts.

Pablo Francisco. . . That man is funny!
I really enjoyed Pablo Francisco's earlier material. But I find his later stuff a bit stale and lacking innovation. Perhaps he is suffering from the comedian's equivalent of second novel syndrome?
That said, I've always enjoyed a comedic act with a strong social commentary. It's interesting how some comedians can make an somewhat out there and/or controversial statement, but because it is wrapped up in good humour, it seems to draw less ire from the general crowd. Names that come to mind here are Lenny Bruce, George Carlin, Bill Hicks and early Eddie Murphy (and to some extent, Criss Rock).

^^ Agreed, Eddie Murphy in his earlier days doing Raw and Delirious was the funniest **** out there. He has definitely calmed down now though. His piece about Michael Jackson and Mr T was so below the belt. He definitely at that stage was heavily influenced by Richard Pryor.

And Afrikaans people will never forget Casper De Vries! The manner in which he jokes and makes statements about everyday life in South Africa is unrivaled! Especially when he talks about taxi's and the way they drive and **** us off.
