No offence to any Afrikaans people and Indian people on this thread, but I can't stand Boere Musiek and Indian songs when the female vocalists hit those hectic high notes. It feels like my ears will start bleeding -and practically all new R&B songs (they all sound the same - where's the good ol' songs like those by Boyz II Men, All 4 One, the ORIGINAL Joe tunes) and the classic Gangster Rap (Snoop - you're too commercial now - 2Pac, Nas, Notorious, BTnH - I miss the sound of there old tunes).

Anyway, there's this new song circulating on 5fm, i never catch the name, but it's some retarded guy and some other equally retarded girl "singing" about booming or swagger or something stupid like that. @.db I am STUNNED that anyone could hate Tool. I find them to be pioneers of hard prog, and each musician in the band is on of the best at what they do. Danny Carey is the most incredible drummer I've ever heard, and MJK's voice and lyrics move me in ways that nothing else around can.

Don't get me wrong, I am a LP fan (mostly their old stuff) but out of those bands, LP is by far the worst. Metallica is, admitedly, not as good as they used to be (Death Magnetic is awesome though), Serj Tankian from SOAD is on another level (I guess you either recognize his genious or don't) and Tool, well what can one say about Tool that hasn't been mentioned before. They are intelligent and masters of their craft. Compared to these, IMO at least, LP just can't compare. Having said that though, I tend to anxiously await every LP album just to see if they will match their first 2 albums.
