21st Century breakdown-New Green Day CD

Anyone else listened to the new Green Day CD , absolutly Brillant, favourite songs are "Horseshoes and handgranades " ( Johnny and Sid would be so stoked) and "The static Age" , but on a whole the album is worth listening to

Only heard the first song. Didn't really like it that much, but I'll reserve judgement until I hear some more on the radio.
I hear it's another concept album? Wouldn't make any difference, I loved American Idiot.

From what i'v heard it's great, Green Day has never let me down, been playing through some of it with some friends. Really good stuff.

I'm a bit disappointed in Green Day.Their music isn't as great as it was in the '90s.They sound a bit metal-esque now,which is not a good thing.

@Alaric: Agreed. Dookie and Nimrod were incredible. Didn't enjoy them again until some of the tracks on American Idiot.

The single hasn't sold me. I'll def give it a listen before buying.

Green Day isn't even remotely metal. And frankly, if they were, that would be a good thing, because at least they wouldn't sound so bland and middle of the road.

Their first album was their best. Everything has been downhill from there.

21st Century Breakdown is a crappy album IMO. International Superhits! is all the Green Day I'll ever need (Macy's Day Parade is my favorite GD song). I liked some of the tracks on American Idiot but mostly it seems like they've dried up and kind of lost all their passion. 21st Century Breakdown, the sound of selling out :/

I recently bought their cd. I was let down by 1 or 2 songs here and there, but over all i think the album was worth it.

I love Green Day, When I heard they had a new album I was all like \o/, I think I was sold when I heard the bassline in "Holiday", Green Day has an awesome bassist and this album is no different, I learnt to play "21st Century Breakdown"(the song not the album=)) a few weeks ago and I love their album. Yes, I am a Green Day fanboy lol =)
