Have had it since the launch last week and I am experiencing smoother performance. All-in-all I think it does speed up things in general.

Ha ha ha, you could have swapped over from XP a long, long time ago my friend. Vista is very much worth it now.

I would wait a few months for Windows 7 if I were you. It is going to be much better than Vista - NOT to say that there is much wrong with Vista at this point.

No point in upgrading to vista now with win 7 so close. SP 2 didn't make much difference for me with vista. Vista has fine for quite a while for me.

Any changes to the "internal" software such as Movie maker or DVD Maker? Also, anyone know where I can get additonal menu templates for DVD Maker? (I've googled)
